Name tags, badges, and desk cards from one list
Choose “Name tag” for eight tags per page, with a “HELLO my name is” header if you want one, or “Desk name card” for six wide cards you can tape to a desk or cubby. Every name is sized to fit its card. A page holds eight tags or six desk cards, and a long list continues onto more pages. Use up to 100 names.
Solid, slanted, or dotted names
Solid bold letters work as a badge or a name label. School slant print uses the open-license Edu NSW ACT Foundation font for a friendlier look. Dotted letters let a child trace their own name on the tag before wearing it. For a traceable page with practice lines instead, make a name tracing worksheet, or make one for the whole class with the class list generator.
Print, cut, and use
Print at 100% on US Letter or A4, cut along the dashed lines, and add a sticker back, a lanyard sleeve, or tape. The PDF is a finished printable, not a fillable Word or Canva template; edit the names here before you download. Check the preview for spelling before printing a class set.

Good to know
Is this a name tag template I can edit in Word?
It is a browser-based maker rather than a Word file. Type the names, check the preview, and download a finished PDF. If you need to redesign the whole layout, a document editor may suit you better.
Can I make name badges for an event or classroom?
Yes. Paste your list, choose the tag layout, and print. Names stay in your browser, so a class or event list is not uploaded.
How many names fit on one page?
Eight name tags or six desk name cards per page. Longer lists continue onto additional pages, and the preview shows every page that will print.
