Capital J in cursive

Lowercase j in cursive
Lowercase j has a dot above a short stroke that drops below the baseline into a loop. The loop comes back up to finish with an exit stroke.
Joining j to other letters
Lowercase j reaches below the baseline, so the join to the next letter climbs back up from below the line. Trace jump to see the connection, then try the word on the blank copy line.
Lowercase j and g share the same lower loop. Use the guidelines to check how far the loop drops below the baseline, and add the dot after the word is finished.
