Capital O in cursive
Capital O is a tall slanted oval with a small loop inside the top where the stroke closes.
Lowercase o in cursive
Lowercase o is a small oval closed at the top with a little loop, then a short tie at the midline instead of an exit stroke at the baseline.
Joining o to other letters
Lowercase o finishes with a tie at the midline, so the letter after it starts high. Trace moon to see that join, then try the word on the blank copy line.
Like b, v, and w, lowercase o ends high, so the next letter starts from the midline. In moon, look at how the second o and the n start from that high tie.
