Capital T in cursive
Capital T has a wavy top bar above a separate slanted stem. The stem curves slightly at the bottom.
Lowercase t in cursive
Lowercase t is a tall stroke that rises above the midline (without a loop) and comes back down to the baseline. A short crossbar crosses it.
Joining t to other letters
Lowercase t finishes with an exit stroke at the baseline that runs into the next letter. Trace kite to see the connection, then try the word on the blank copy line.
Lowercase t is shorter than l and has no loop. Many teachers suggest adding the crossbar after the whole word is written, just like the dot on i and j.
