Twenty-four names. One paste. One PDF.

A tracing sheet for every child, plus name tags and desk cards, ready to print. It takes about two minutes, it’s free, and the roster never leaves your computer. Here’s exactly how.

Open the Teacher batch page. There’s one big box: names, one per line. Paste your class list. Up to twenty-five names at once. Spaces, apostrophes and hyphens are fine. Mary Anne and O’Neil both work.

Now pick a look. Dotted letters, light outline, dashed, or cursive. Choose three, five or eight practice rows. Every sheet ends with a blank row, so each child gets a turn to try alone. Letter or A4. And for a big set, switch to ink-saving gray. It’s still easy to read.

Here’s the time-saver. Tick name tags. Tick desk name cards. Tags come eight to a page, desk cards six to a page, tucked on the end of the same file. Hit download one combined PDF. Each child’s sheet gets its own page. Prefer separate files? Take the zip instead.

For eight names, that’s eight worksheets, one page of name tags, and two pages of desk cards. Eleven pages. One print job.

Cut along the dashed lines. Tape one tag to each cubby, and one card to each desk. Now every child sees their own name, all week.

Two print settings matter. Match the paper size to your printer. And print at one hundred percent, also called actual size, so the letters keep their size.

And privacy. These are children’s names, so this matters. Your roster is processed right in your browser tab. It isn’t uploaded, and closing the tab clears it. Even the zip files use numbers instead of names.

Quick answers. How many names? Up to twenty-five per download. For a longer list, make a second batch, or use the name tag maker, which takes up to a hundred. Can you print the whole class at once? Yes. The combined PDF prints in one job, one page per child. And ideas for using the sheets? Morning work in the first week. A sub folder. A quick station at a preschool or daycare.

Try it now. It’s at trace the name dot com, slash teacher dash batch. The link’s in the description. Teaching kindergarten? Grab the free first-week pack too. Paste a roster, press download, and you’re ready for day one.
